A new Dorothy and Marshall restaurant offering British cuisine has opened in the setting of the former Bromley Old Town Hall.

Following the opening of the business in 2022, Dorothy and Marshall has now opened a new restaurant located within the newly redeveloped Bromley Old Town Hall.

The former town hall now houses the restaurant, along with Brama, a new boutique hotel and a large workspace offering office spaces and conference rooms.

The Grade II listed building, which was originally built in 1907, was put on the at risk register in 2009, but has since been given a revamp.

The new restaurant serving British cuisine is located in the town hall’s former courthouse, and also features a new summer terrace offering alfresco dining to guests.

Guests will also be able to dine all year round in the newly refurbished courthouse, which features wood-panelled walls, along with bronze and orange décor featuring paintings and pictures of the local area over the years.

The restaurant offers an all-day dining experience with a range of menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Along with its food menu, guests will also be able to chose from a range of drinks, cocktails and mocktails with the 'Tipple of the Terrace' deal offering beers starting at £3.90, or glasses of Pimm’s for £5.30 available Tuesday – Friday from 4pm-6pm.

The launch of the terrace will also introduce a small plate menu along with a range of crafted cocktails, wines and beers.

Some of the dining options on offer include Sussex charcuterie with grilled sourdough, Loch Fyne smoked salmon plate with sunflower seed, rice bread, and crispy bacon and truffle croquettes.

For £16.90 guests can dine at breakfast, on Saturday for brunch, or on Sunday with their lunch menu with a glass of wine.

The Saturday brunch menu features a range of savoury and sweet brunch options including brioche French toast with mixed berries, smashed avocado and poached eggs, and parmesan waffles with roasted tomatoes and rocket.

Guests can also dine on the weekend for a traditional roast, choosing between a number of meats including pork, chicken and sirloin steak.
