The following cases were heard in Bexley and Bromley Magistrates’ Courts in the week starting July 10.

Nicholas Carlton, 38, of Frobisher Road in Erith 

Pleaded guilty that on January 1 at Tesco Express on Northend Road, Erith, he trespassed and stole £350 in cash. He then failed to surrender to court having been released on bail. 

He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £350 in compensation. 

Shaye Kai Lewis, 19, of Blackfen Road in Bexley 

Pleaded guilty that on October 20, 2022, in Bexleyheath he used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman. His actions were found to be racially aggravated. 

He was given a community order and ordered to pay £200 in compensation. 

Kevin Hiscock, 40, of Highview Road in Sidcup 

Pleaded guilty that on November 19, 2022, on Beckenham Hill, Bellingham, he drove a vehicle while he was disqualified from driving and while he was unfit to drive due to drugs. Also pleaded guilty that he drove without due care and attention by pulling out into oncoming traffic and overtook three stationary vehicles before continuing through a red light.  

He was given a community order including 150 hours of unpaid work. Also disqualified from driving for 18 months. 

Darren Elson, 42, of Maberley Crescent 

Pleaded guilty that on April 4 he stole £1,921 of alcohol from Majestic Wine in South Eden Park Road, Beckenham. 

He was given a community order including a drug rehabilitation requirement. 

Lee Michael Thomas, 36, of Adelaide Avenue in Ladywell 

Pleaded guilty that on April 27 in Lewisham he assaulted a police officer and assaulted a woman. 

He was given a 10-week prison sentence suspended for one and a half years. 

Fuad Adetoro, 26, of Avocet Mews in Thamesmead 

Found guilty that on February 28 he assaulted a woman. 

He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £200 compensation. 

Nathan Thomas Brian Parrish, 31, of Manwood Close in Sittingbourne 

Pleaded guilty that on October 25, 2022, on the A20 Sidcup Bypass in Chislehurst he drove at 86mph in a 50mph zone. 

He was fined £576 and disqualified from driving for half a year. 

Anthony Jackson, 53, of Hawstead Road in Catford 

Pleaded guilty that between September 2021 and January 2022 in Lewisham he stalked a woman by following, loitering, shouting and making unwanted contact. 

He was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 in compensation.
