A 53-year-old man from Bromley who shone a laser at a police helicopter has appeared in court.
Lee Jeffrey appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 13, having pleaded guilty to directing a laser at an aircraft.
The court heard that on November 11 last year he directed a beam towards a police helicopter which was moving in the air.

The beam dazzled or distracted Captain Andrew Brandt, who was in control of the aircraft.
Jeffrey, of Rangefield Road, was granted bail to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
