Some people in Lewisham have no water this afternoon (July 12) after a water main burst.
The issue was first reported early this morning (July 12) and Thames Water have confirmed that a burst water main affecting Whitbread Road has been identified.
Company engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to make necessary repairs.
A spokesperson for Thames Water said: "We received reports of a low water pressure and no water on Whitbread Road in Lewisham earlier this morning on Wednesday 12 July.
"A burst water main has now been identified and our engineers are currently investigating with the aim to make any necessary repairs as quickly as possible.
"We are sorry to customers in the area who have been impacted by this.
“We would encourage those with low water pressure or no water to contact our designated customer call centre on 0800 316 9800 for assistance.”
