Police have seized a quantity of drugs, three swords, weapons and a dangerous dog from a home in Plumstead. 

Officers from Greenwich Neighbourhood, the O2 policing team and the Met Taskforce Dog Unit executed a warranted.

Police uncovered a quantity of class A and class B drugs, including heroin, cannabis and crack cocaine.

Weapons including several knives, a knuckle duster, and a baton were also found.

A dangerous dog was also seized by police during the search.

One person was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs, and possession of a dangerous dog.

Greenwich MPS tweeted: “Great work by #Greenwich Neighbourhood tasking team, assisted by officers from Woolwich town centre policing team, the 02 policing team and @MetTaskforce dog unit.

“Successful warrant in #Plumstead.

“A large quantity of cannabis, a large lump of heroin, 5 small rocks of crack cocaine were found at the address, a suspect was found in possession of a police baton.

“Three swords and a knuckle duster were found inside the address and a dangerous dog was seize by the dog unit.

“The suspect was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon, (police baton, swords and knuckle duster) possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs, possession of a dangerous dog.
