A man who was armed with a knife made threats at a Wetherspoons pub in Bexleyheath, a court has heard.
Mark Tworek, of Cuxton Close in Bexleyheath, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on July 4 having pleaded guilty to possession of a knife and making threats.
The 26-year-old was caught in possession of the knife on April 16 at the Furze Wren pub.
The court heard that he also told police he had a gun.
The threats he made were racially aggravated, the court decided.
Tworek was given a 24-week prison sentence suspended for one year.
