A young boy believed to be around eight-years-old was punched three times by a woman he was with on a train in south London, police have said.
British Transport Police have released images of two women they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
The alleged assault took place on a Southern Rail train between Charshalton and Victoria Station at around 6.45pm on Monday, April 24.
As the train reached Mitcham Eastfields the young boy was punched three times to the shoulder by one of the two women he was travelling with.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 2300048751.
