Two people have been detained after a man in his 70s was pushed to the ground in Bexleyheath.
Police were called to the assault in Market Place at around 4.05pm this afternoon (July 10).
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at about 16:05hrs on Monday, 10 July to reports of an assault on Market Place in Bexleyheath.
"Officers attended and were informed that man, aged in his 70s, had been pushed to the ground.
"Two people were detained nearby. Enquiries continue."
