Police are appealing for the public’s help after a man was knocked unconscious on a Thameslink train.
The victim and his friends boarded the Blackfriars to Brighton train and he proceeded to sit next to a man he didn’t know.
The unknown man then became verbally aggressive towards the victim and punched him in the head, leaving him unconscious. The attacker then left the train at London Bridge.
The victim suffered bruising and a perforated ear drum.
The incident happened at around 2.40pm on Saturday, June 24.
British Transport Police (BTP) have released an image of a man who they believe may have information which could help their investigation.
