Almost 600 homes are currently without power as UK Power Networks work to fix the issue.
A Chislehurst resident told News Shopper that their power went out twice between 9am and 11am this morning (Monday, June 19) for five to ten minutes each time.
While this resident was not as badly affected as others, they said that it did disrupt some important meetings as they worked from home.
Another resident, who lives on Beanshaw Road, has been told that their power may be restored by 5pm today.
UK Power Networks has apologised for the inconvenience that the power outage has caused and has said it is are working to restore power to the homes affected.
A UK Power Networks spokesperson said: “Network engineers are working hard to restore power for 579 homes due to a fault in the Chislehurst area at 10.11 am this morning.
“UK Power Networks staff members are currently on site and investigating the cause.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
