A man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was hit by train in Ladywell.
Police were called to Ladywell at 9.41am today (June 19) following reports of a casualty on the train tracks.
Paramedics attended and a man is being treated for injuries which are believed to be life-threatening.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
The Hayes Line is expected to remain closed until midday today (June 19) as emergency services deal with the incident.
Southeastern customers can use their train tickets on local London buses at no extra charge.
No trains are currently running on the Sidcup Line and services and will not call at Lewisham.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Ladywell at 9.41am following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, and a man is being treated for injuries which are believed to be life-threatening.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
