A man in his 40s has been found dead at a home in Erith.
Concerns for the welfare of a man were raised in Church Road at 3.15pm today (June 18).
Officers and London Ambulance Services crews attended and found a man dead.
The death is being treated as unexpected and his next of kin are yet to be informed.
Police enquiries are taking place to establish the circumstances.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 3.15pm on Sunday, 18 June after concerns were raised about the welfare of a man at a residential property in Church Road, Erith.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
"A man, aged in his 40s, was found dead the scene.
“His next of kin are yet to be informed.
“The death is being treated as unexpected and enquiries are taking place to establish the circumstances.”
