This weekend, thousands of musical theatre fans will be heading to London's Trafalgar Square for the annaul West End Live. 

Set in the heart of Theatreland, the weekend-long event celebrates the best musicals currently on stage and offers a chance for all to see a glimpse at new shows. 

The free event is organised and primarily funded by Westminster City Council with support from the Society of London Theatre and the Mayor of London. 

During the weekend, performances from some of the biggest West End shows take place, including the likes of Heathers, Mamma Mia!, Hamilton, Cabaret, The Book Of Mormon and many more.

When is West End Live 2023 in London?

This year West End Live is taking place across a weekend, on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18. 

On Saturday the events kick off at 11am and lasts until 5pm, whilst Sunday the day starts at 12pm and ends at 5pm.

Do you have to get tickets for West End Live?

West End Live is a completely free event with no tickets required, however, it is important to note that entry is based on a first come first served basis.

West End Live Bag Policy

Although bags are permitted into the venue at Trafalgar Square, it is encouraged not to bring large cases or bags. 

There are left luggage areas located at Charing Cross station which is a short walk away.

Plus all bags will be searched and alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
