A road in Crayford is blocked as firefighters tackle a huge 40-tonne lorry fire.
London Fire Brigade was called to the A206 Thames Road roundabout at around 11.30am and the fire is ongoing.
The lorry has around 40 tonnes of waste on board.
Fire crews from Plumstead and Bexley fire stations are at the scene after receiving six calls about the fire.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters are tackling a vehicle fire on Thames Road in Crayford.
“An articulated lorry with around 40 tonnes of waste on board is alight.
“The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received six calls about the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 1126. Crews from Plumstead and Bexley fire stations are at the scene.”
