A man from Woolwich has been charged with supplying crack cocaine amongst other charges.

Normal Samura, of Spindle Close in Woolwich, was arrested after Kent Police carried out a search at an address in London on Thursday, June 1.

The 25-year-old was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, and three counts of handling stolen goods.

Norman appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 2 where he was remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, June 30.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Two men have been arrested in the continuing effort to tackle the supply of controlled drugs in north Kent.

“Officers carried out a search at an address in London, on Thursday 1 June 2023, following a joint operation by Kent Police’s Proactive Targeting Team and local officers.

“A man was arrested at the property and taken into custody.

“The constables also seized quantities of crack cocaine and heroin plus a mobile phone.

“Norman Samura, of Spindle Close, Woolwich, was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, and three counts of handling stolen goods.

“The 25-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 2 June, where he was remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday 30 June.”
