A man in his 20s who was taken to hospital having been stabbed in the chest in Bromley has been arrested.
The incident happened in Chatterton Road just before 4pm yesterday (May 15).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man with a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was initially unknown.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed (May 16) that his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
He was later arrested on suspicion of affray.
Police enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 3.56pm on Monday, 15 May to a report of an altercation on Chatterton Road, Bromley.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service. A man, aged in his 20s, was found with stab wounds to his chest and taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non life threatening or life changing.
“He was later arrested on suspicion of affray.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
