A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after an incident in Bexleyheath.
Concerns for the welfare of a man were raised in Avenue Road just after 1am yesterday (May 14).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The man was detained under the Mental Health Act and taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 1.04am on Sunday, 14 May to concerns for the welfare of a man in Avenue Road, Bexleyheath.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
“The man, aged in his 20s, was detained under the Mental Health Act and taken to hospital.”
