A man in his late 40s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Thamesmead.
The incident happened in Bentham Road at around 8.30pm today (May 14).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
A crime scene has been put in place following the incident.
No arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 8.30pm on Sunday, 14 May to Bentham Road, SE28 following reports of a man with stab injuries.
“Officers attended. The man, aged in his late 40s, was taken to hospital; we await an update on his condition.
“A crime scene is in place. There have been no arrests.”
