Police have named and released a picture the victim of a fatal stabbing in Malyons Road in Ladywell.
The victim, who was found stabbed inside his BMW, is 29-year-old Alex Josephs.
On Wednesday (May 10) at 1:59pm police were called to the scene of a stabbing at Malyons Road in Ladywell.
Police, ambulance crews and London’s Air Ambulance went to the scene.
Alex was found in his car, a grey BMW, having been stabbed.
He died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.
A post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place.
Four male suspects - two aged 24, the third aged 25 and the fourth aged 23 - have been arrested in connection with the incident.
They were taken to south London police stations and were later released pending further enquiries.
A murder investigation has been launched, led by Detective Chief Inspector Kate Kieran.

DCI Kieran said: “This was a shocking incident that took place on a busy street in the middle of the day. There were a large number of witnesses and I thank those people who have already taken the time to share what they saw.

“Alex's family is reeling from the shock of losing their loved one in such a violent way. Our thoughts are with them as our investigation progresses.”
Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry, leading local policing said: “It saddens me to see another life ended by knife crime in our city.
“I know that this incident will send shock waves throughout our community.
“Please know that I share in your concerns, and while my officers are supporting the murder investigation team, they are also available to provide support and reassurance through enhanced patrols in the area.
“We believe that this is an isolated incident, however, if you are worried, please do feel free to approach officers and speak with them.”
The full statement from Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Lewisham have named the victim as Alex Josephs.
“Police were called at 13:59hrs on Wednesday, 10 May to reports of a stabbing at Malyons Road, Ladywell.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service [LAS] and London's Air Ambulance [HEMS].
“Twenty-nine year old Alex, was found inside his car, a grey coloured BMW, suffering from knife wounds.
“Despite the efforts to save him, he sadly died at the scene.
“His next of kin have been informed and continue to be supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
“A murder investigation was launched led by Detective Chief Inspector Kate Kieran.
“A post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place in due course.
“Four males: [A] aged 24; [B] aged 24 [C] aged 25 and [D] aged 23 were arrested in connection with the incident.
"They were taken to south London police stations where they were later released pending further enquiries.
