Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is one of the best places to work, according to the 2023 Sunday Times Best Places to Work list published today (Friday).
Oxleas Trust, which operates NHS services in Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich, was named in two categories: the Very Big Company category, and the Best Places to Work for Disabled People category.
It is the only NHS trust named in this year’s list, which includes a wide range of UK employers, including many well-known companies.
Dr Ify Okocha, Chief Executive of Oxleas NHS Trust, said: “This is really such amazing news.
“I’d like to congratulate all my colleagues for their continued support and passion for our journey towards creating a culture and environment that support and respects everyone.”
Andy Trotter, Chair of Oxleas Trust, said: “Making Oxleas a Great Place to Work is one of our strategic aims and being included in the Sunday times list recognises the dedication to patient care and contribution of everyone working at the trust.”
The annual award is based on an employee survey that includes questions on areas like on staff empowerment, job satisfaction and employee wellbeing.
The results also showed that four out of five of the trust’s 3,500 employees are proud of the organisation and would recommend it as a place to work, putting it 10 per cent above the industry average.
