Two males have been taken to hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Elephant and Castle.

The incident happened in Elephant Road just before 3am on Sunday (May 7).

Officers were called to the scene and found two males injured.

They were taken to hospital for treatment where their conditions were assessed as not life threatening.

Four arrests were made in connection with the incident.

Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 2.58am on Sunday, 7 May to Elephant Road, Elephant and Castle, SE1 following a report of a fight involving a number of males.

“Officers attended and on arrival found two males with stab wounds and other significant injuries.

“They were all taken to hospital where they remain. There injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

“There have been four arrests at this time; enquiries continue.
