A woman has died after falling from a height in Eltham.
The incident happened in Well Hall Road just before 6.40pm today (April 25).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a woman injured.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, she died shortly after.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
Road closures are currently in place.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Well Hall Road, SE9 at 6.38pm on Tuesday 25 April following reports of a woman injured after falling from a height.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
"Despite the efforts of the emergency services the woman died at the scene shortly after.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“Cordons remain in place at the location.”
