The part of a roof of a two-storey terraced house was on fire earlier today.
Firefighters were called to a house fire at 11.54am today (April 25) on Challock Close.
Part of the roof of a two-storey terraced house was on fire.
One person left the house before firefighters arrived.
A 32-metre turntable ladder was used to tackle the fire.
There have been no reports of any injuries and the fire was under control just before 2pm.
Six fire engines from Addington, Bromley, Croydon, Purley and Woodside fire stations attended.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and crews remain on scene.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters are tackled a house fire on Challock Close in Biggin Hill.
“Part of the roof of a two-storey terraced house was alight. One person left the house before firefighters arrived.
“There have been no reports of any injuries.
“A 32-metre turntable ladder has been used to tackle the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 1154 and the fire was brought under control by 1359 but crews remain on scene.
“Fire engines from Addington, Bromley, Croydon, Purley and Woodside fire stations attended.
“The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.”
