A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Kidbrooke.
The incident between a car and a van happened in Kidbrooke Park Road just before 6am today (April 23).
Officers were called to the scene and found two drivers with minor injuries.
One man, with no further details, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He was taken to an east London police station following the incident.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
Kidbrooke Park Road was closed as the incident was dealt with but has since reopened.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Kidbrooke Park Road, SE3 at 05:49hrs on Sunday 23 April following reports of a collision involving a van and a car.
“Both drivers sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
“One man, no further details, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in connection with the incident.
“He was taken to an East London police station, where he remains.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“A road closure was put in place on Kidbrooke Park Road while officers dealt with the incident. This has been reopened.”
