A man in his 80s has died after a crash in Bromley.
The incident between a pedestrian and a motorcycle happened in Croydon Road at 3pm today (April 18).
Officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and an air ambulance attended and found a man injured.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
His family has been informed.
The rider of the motorcycle was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
He remains in custody at a south London police station.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 15:00hrs on Tuesday, 18 April to reports of a collision involving a motorbike and pedestrian on Croydon Road in Keston.
“Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended. Despite their efforts, the pedestrian, who is believed to be aged in his 80s, died at the scene.
"His family has been informed.
“The rider has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has been taken to a south London police station.”
