There is no denying that us south east Londoners know how to have a great night out.
Nowadays we have the likes of the Pelton Arms and the Cutty Sark which are always busy most nights.
But do you remember some of the old classics such as the Barley Mow, Duke of Wellington, the Eight Bells, the Cricketers and the Bell.
To bring back some memories, we used ClosedPubs.co.uk, to compile a list of the pubs that have closed over the years in Greenwich.
Barley Mow
The Barley Mow was located in 89 Royal Hill which closed its doors in 2005.
It has now been converted into a restaurant.
The Duke of Wellington
The Duke of Wellington was in 120 Old Woolwich Road and is now used as residential accommodation.
It is unknown when it closed.
The Eight Bells
The Eight Bells was located in 3 Greenwich Church Street. This pub is now used as a bookmakers.
The Cricketers
The Cricketers was located in 22 King William Walk. This pub closed in 2005 and is now in use as a fish and chip shop.
