A Greene King pub in Crayford has reopened following a six-figure refurbishment and the News Shopper has an exclusive first look.
The Bear and Ragged Staff, in London Road, officially reopened its doors on Friday, March 31.
Pictures taken by Greene King show the finalised look which has been in the works since February.
Upon arrival, customers will be greeted by a bright navy and white sign, which reads: “Bear and Ragged Staff.”
The pub has had a full makeover internally and externally with new seating, lighting, and furniture.
It has also introduced a brand-new cocktail-making station at the bar.
An extension has been introduced in the garden of the pub with 30 additional covers and new TVs.
Sports fans can look forward to their own dedicated viewing zone, showing the latest games on Sky and BT.
Artur Janiak, General Manager of the Bear & Ragged Staff said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming back our regulars and showing them our brand-new look.
“We’re popular in the local area for our live music, and with the addition of our new cocktail station there’s now even more reason to head down and celebrate with us.”
It has a regular programme of events for customers to enjoy – including quiz night on a Thursday, live music on Saturdays, and open mic night on Sundays.
Another Greene King pub, The Jolly Fenman in Sidcup had also shut its doors for refurbishment works.
The Blackfen Road pub has also since reopened.
