Police have warned owners of a group of specific cars about a new theft device.
Catford police, in south London, have warned motorists about an increase in thefts of the cars listed below.
The cars at risk are:
- Mitsubishi Outlander
- Nissan Nevara
- Kia Sportage
- Kia Niro
- Hyundai Ionic
- Hyundai Tucson
Catford Police tweeted: "These cars are currently more vulnerable due to new theft devices on the market.
"If you own one of these vehicles, we would advise you to take extra security measures to keep your vehicle safe by purchasing either a faraday pouch or steering wheel lock, or installing a ghost immobiliser."
