A national gym chain is set to open a branch at the site of a swimming centre in Sidcup.
PureGym will replace the former Lamorbey Swimming Centre in Station Road this summer.
The swimming centre was demolished in 2008 after a new pool and leisure centre opened nearby in Hurst Road.
An application for a new gym was submitted to Bexley Council on November 2022 which was approved within two months.
The site will also include parking, recycling, and cycle stores, and will be part four-storey and a five-storey building.
The exact opening date of the gym is currently unknown.
