A further arrest has been made after a horror shooting in Erith, bringing the total arrests to eight.
Kai McGinley was shot dead in Pembroke Road at 8.50pm on February 9.
The 24-year-old was found suffering from a gunshot wound a short distance away in Hillside.
Despite attempts by the emergency services to save his life, Kai died shortly after.
A 23-year-old man was arrested yesterday (March 16) on suspicion of murder.

He was taken into police custody where he remains.
Four people were previously charged in connection with Kai’s murder and the shooting.
Enriko Spahiu, 20, of Elmhurst in Belvedere, and Jalees Selby-Gangera, 18, of Woodfield Close in Erith, were charged on March 9 with murder and attempted murder.
On March 11, Connor Brooks, 20, of Horsa Road in Erith, and Bradlee Reeve, 33, of Chapman Road in Erith were both charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
A plea hearing is scheduled for May 30 with a trial date scheduled for January 3, 2024, at the Old Bailey.
There have been three other arrests as part of the investigation into Kai’s murder.
On March 9, a 16-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
They both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder but was released with no further action.
