New data has revealed where in south east London the mortgage rates and house prices have increased most over the last five years.
The south east London boroughs with the most increased detached house prices are Bexley and Lewisham, both seeing an increase of 26 per cent since 2017.
The borough with the highest increase in semi-detached house prices is Bexley, with these houses costing 27 per cent more than they did back in 2017.
Bexley is also the borough with the most increased mortgage rates on terraced houses and flats.
Lewisham

This has increased by 26 per cent since 2017.
Semi-detached - The average price for a semi-detached property in Lewisham was £805k in December 2022.
This has increased by 25 per cent since 2017.
