London Ambulance Service has issued an update after a stabbing in Peckham.

A 15-year-old boy was found injured in Rye Lane just after 8pm on Tuesday (February 21).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.

An ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager also attended.

The boy was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. 

His condition was later assessed as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.01pm on Tuesday 21 February to reports of an incident on Rye Lane, Peckham.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.

“Our first medics arrived in around five minutes.

“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking them to hospital as a priority.”

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly after 8pm on Tuesday, 21 February to reports of a male stabbed on Rye Lane in Peckham.

“Officers attended and found a 15-year-old boy injured. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

“His condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

“A crime scene is in place.

“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
