Police have confirmed that an eight-year-old boy has died at the scene of a crash in Woolwich.
Officers were called at 7.30pm last night (February 19) to Plumstead road where a motorbike had been involved in a crash with three pedestrians on a pedestrian crossing.
This was near to the junction with Lenton Street.
One of the pedestrians, an eight-year-old boy, died at the scene.
His family are being supported by specialist officers.
A man, aged in his 40s, and a 10-year-old boy were also crossing the road.
They were taken to hospital with serious injuries and are both fighting for their lives.
The rider of the motorbike was also taken to hospital.
He is a 20-year-old man and his condition is not life threatening.

London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were also at the scene.
Road closures remain in place and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
There has been no arrests.
Police have confirmed that there is nothing to suggest this is terrorism related or a hate crime, but enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Greenwich.
"Officers were called at approximately 19:30hrs on Sunday, 19 February to reports of a motorcycle in collision with three pedestrians on a pedestrian crossing in Plumstead Road, near the junction with Lenton Street, SE18.
"Officers, London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance all attended the scene.
"Despite the best efforts of the emergency services one of the pedestrians, an eight year-old boy, sadly died at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
"A man, aged in his 40s, and a ten year-old boy, who were crossing the road together with the younger boy, were taken to hospital suffering serious injuries.
"Both remain in a life-threatening condition.
"The rider of the motorbike was also taken to hospital. He is a 20-year-old man and his condition has been assessed as not life threatening.
"Road closures remain in place and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
"There has been no arrest.
"Any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8285 1574.
