London Ambulance Service has released a statement following the death of a man in a shooting in Erith last night (February 9).
On February 9, at around 8:48pm police and ambulance crews were called to Pembroke Road after reports of gunshots in the area.
In response to the shooting, London Ambulance Service despatched several resources to the scene including an incident response officer, two medics in fast response cars, two ambulance crews and London’s Air Ambulance.

Despite efforts, a man died at the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday 9 February at 8:48pm to reports of gun shots on Pembroke Road, Erith.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, two medics in fast response cars, two ambulance crews, and London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Police investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have currently been made.
