Lewisham organisations, small businesses and groups are rallying round to source vital donations to send to the survivors of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
On Monday (February 6), a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria destroying homes and claiming lives.
The death toll has passed 19,000, with survivors left without the necessities of shelter, water, fuel and electricity.
Firefighters from across the UK joined the International Search and Rescue Team (UK-ISAR) to help find survivors and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has said that the government will match £5 million in an appeal to deliver relief and rescue survivors.
