Teachers are taking strike action across the country today, forcing many schools to close.
Bromley Council has issued an update on whether schools in the borough will close.
The update outlines that the majority of schools are now academies, meaning that they act independently and the council does not have information on school closures.

Parents should contact their child's respective school for more information.
A spokesperson for Bromley Council said: "As the majority of our schools are academies and therefore act independently in most matters, we would not have this information.
"You would have to contact schools directly to find out."
