A secondary school in Sidcup will be partially closed for one day this week due to the national teacher strikes.
In a letter to parents on January 27, headteacher of Cleeve Park School, Alex O’Donnell, said there will be a partial closure tomorrow (February 1).
This comes as part of the National Education Union strikes, after members voted to take industrial action on several dates in February and March.
The NEU says the strikes will affect 23,400 schools across England and Wales.

The school will be open to students in Yrs 7, 11 & 13 only.

The Sidcup school has decided to stay open for Years, 7, 11, and 13 who are preparing for summer exams.
All other year groups will be required to remain at home as work will be provided through Google Classroom.
The NEU has indicated that will be further strike action planned for March 2, 15, and 16.
It is unknown whether Cleeve Park School will participate in these strikes.
