A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after a substance was sprayed through a letterbox in Abbey Wood.
The incident happened at a house in Commonwealth Way at 10.30am yesterday (January 29).
Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade were called to the scene.
The boy was found with irritation to his skin.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 10:30hrs on 29 January to Commonwealth Way SE2.
“Officers attended with LAS and LFB.
“A teenage boy was taken to hospital after a substance was sprayed through the letterbox of a residential address.
“He sustained irritation to his skin.
“There have been no arrests at this time; enquiries are ongoing.”
