A popular pizza takeaway chain is set to open its latest branch in Beckenham on Valentine’s Day.
The new Fireaway pizzeria is located at 186A High Street and opens its doors to the public on February 14.
The new branch is open from midday until 11pm every day of the week and pizzas can be delivered from Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
Customers can choose from four bases, four cheeses, four meats and 20 toppings, which are all available for the same price.
Founder Mario Aleppo set out to create “an unrivalled pizza experience” by visiting Italy and meeting farmers who now send him peeled tomatoes directly from Naples to use in the restaurants.
Fireaway says Mario then secured deals with mills in northern Italy that prepare the flour for the pizzas.
The pizzas are baked at the restaurant for no more than three minutes in a 400 degrees oven.
Among them is the unique Fireaway Nutella Pizza - a dessert which you can get covered with strawberries or bananas.
The company won Rising Star Pizza Chain of the Year at the PAPA Awards in 2021.
Mario said: “We like to innovate and have also introduced the full range of gluten-free and vegan options to ensure there is something for everyone.”
The company first launched in London in 2016 and has now opened more than 130 stores, reaching as far as Northern Ireland and Amsterdam.
