Barclays has confirmed the permanent closure of its bank branch in Chislehurst.
The bank, located in Chislehurst High Street, will close its doors on May 3.
It confirmed that 35 bankers use the Chislehurst branch regularly as the only way to do their banking.
It also revealed that 89 per cent of people who use the Chislehurst branch, also bank by using its online services.
The wave of closures comes as more bankers have turned to online and mobile banking, according to the Barclays website.
A total of 142 Barclays branches have also shut across the country in 2022.
The nearest Barclays branches for Chislehurst bankers are in 167 Bromley High Street and 131 Eltham High Street, SE9 1TJ.
The bank announced they will offer a support van and pop-up banks where you can get help and advice.
The dates of the pop-up van are available on the Barclays website.
Customers can also access certain facilities at Post Office branches including cash and cheque deposits as well as checking their balance and withdrawing cash.
