Now London's most expensive postcodes have been unveiled by the leading estate agent, GetAgent.
As part of the brand 2023 sellers reports, they analysed listings data to reveal the biggest trends for house-sellers in 2023.

London's most expensive postcodes
London is already known for being a very expensive area for homebuyers, you might not be surprised to discover that the City of Westminster takes up the top ten.
Seeing WK1 topping the list seeing an average asking price of over £7 million.
Whilst closely behind lays Hanover Square's W1S and Belgravia's SW1X postcodes, each with average asking prices of over £6 million.

Elsewhere on the list, the postcodes near Portland Street, Victoria Station, and Buckingham Gate all also featured in the top ten.
The area of Central London is known to be in demand with its close connections to attractions and endless transport links options.
Colby Short, Co-Founder and CEO of GetAgent says: "Living in a particular postcode can add thousands to your home’s value, whether that’s due to having prestigious schools (with catchment areas notoriously hard to get into) or even good transport links for commuters.
"Surprisingly, while you might assume that homes closer to the capital would fetch higher asking prices, our research actually shows that it’s countryside destinations that are topping the list of expensive postcodes.
"As we’ve seen a more hybrid way of working come into play over the past couple of years, it’s clear to see that there’s demand for homes in the countryside, and even remote areas of the UK, as people leave the city life for space further afield."
