Winter Love Island 2023 is well underway with the islanders coupled up and enjoying the South African sun.
But it wouldn’t be the show we know and love without some bombshell drama along the way.
At the end of last night’s episode, viewers were teased with the arrival of two new islanders, Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and David Salako.
As the bombshells prepare to settle into the villa and stir things up, here’s everything you need to know about 25-year-old Zara from London.
Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown to enter the Love Island villa
Zara is a model and property developer entering the villa to find someone to date in a different environment.
She said: “My love life is a bit shambolic so it would be nice to date in a different environment as whatever I’m doing at the minute isn’t working.”
She continued: “I’m very loving to a fault, I am a Leo and people often think Leos are arrogant but we’re just very self-assured, we love ourselves but we have the same capacity to love other people.
“I’m very loyal but that means I sometimes put others before myself. But this is Love Island so I’m not going to go in there and let the girls takeover because in the past I’ve been like, ‘If you like him, you have him’. I’d be an amazing girlfriend, I’m understanding, caring, fun and sexy.”
When asked why she is still single, Zara cited her high standards: “I have very high standards because of the industry I’m in but also because of my family. My parents have a great relationship, I’ve got an amazing mother and father and I know what works in a relationship.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
