They have spoken to his friends and family, completed address checks, phone work and liaised with other agencies in attempts to establish his whereabouts.
From this, police now believe that he may have travelled to a friend's house in Brighton.
Cosmas has previously been found in Gillingham in Kent and Cambridge.
Over the past month, a number of social media appeals have been issued and shared with other police forces.
In one of these appeals, Comas's mother pleaded for his safe return.
She said: “We are missing you and we would like you home.”
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Our priority is finding and returning Cosmas safely to his family. We are keeping them updated with any significant developments.
"Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting the reference 22MIS042813."
