Park View Road, Welling, witnessed a Beckham return to English football last night (January 10).
It was not former England captain David, but rather his son Romeo who was making his debut for Brentford B against Erith & Belvedere in the London Senior Cup.
The ninth-tier side play their home games at Park View Road and hosted proud dad David as he watched his son play for the first time since signing from Inter Miami II on loan for the rest of the season.

Romeo played a central role in staging a dramatic comeback as the 20-year-old came on with his side 2-1 down in a game they eventually won 3-2.
The crowd, which consisted of a record 554, was distracted by the England legend and when spotted he was quickly mobbed as fans looked to secure a selfie.
On the pitch, Beckham was impressing from a wing-back position as he created several chances and narrowly missed one himself when he hit the post with a header.

Brentford B boss Neil MacFarlane was full of praise. He said: "He created some really good moments for us with some terrific deliveries.
"He had an opportunity to score as well and I was thrilled with him and the group in general for keeping on the front foot. We never gave up and we got through."
David Beckham was forced to make a quick escape from the rain and the crowd, hopping a fence before running across a field.
The Beckhams made quite the splash as David appeared on the Welling United Twitter page, while Erith & Belvedere delighted in having a Beckham both in the opposition and in attendance.
