Police have found a number of huge machetes in the home of a suspected Lewisham drug dealer.
Officers say that one of the machetes was found on his person and the other seven were found in his home.
He was also allegedly found to be carrying drugs.
A man has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
Lewisham Police tweeted: “#Arrested “The suspect was arrested and charged in court with Possession with intent to supply Class A, Possession with intent to supply Class B and possession of an offensive weapon
“Upon being searched the suspect was found with one Machete the rest were found inside”.
