A large cannabis factory worth thousands of pounds has been uncovered in Belvedere.
Police officers discovered the factory on Saturday night (January 7) and found the property to have sustained severe damage.
Police say the factory was in a dangerous condition due to the electric metre being bypassed.
Bexley Police told the News Shopper that this type of activity is a “major catalyst fuelling violent crime.”
A spokesperson for Bexley Police said: “On Saturday 7th of January officers continued their proactive campaign when they discovered a large cannabis factory in Belvedere worth thousands of pounds.
“The property had sustained severe damage and was in a dangerous condition due to the electric meter being bypassed.
“This type of activity is a major catalyst fuelling violent crime so we will continue taking out these offenders.”
