Following the flooding in Eltham Road in Lee Green this morning, TFL have confirmed that four bus routes are currently being diverted due to the incident.
TFL told News Shopper that the following bus routes are currently on diversion to avoid the flooding incident in Eltham Road.
The flooding was due to a burst water main that has led to six homes being flooded, the closure of a nearby school along with disruptions to traffic in the area.
10 fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to the incident.
The following bus routes are on diversion:
- 122 towards Crystal Palace Parade and Plumbstead, Bus Garage
- 178 towards Lewisham Shopping Centre and Woolwich
- 321 towards New Cross Sainsbury’s and Foots Cray, Tesco
- 621 towards Lewisham Shopping Centre and Crown Woods School
In addition, a spokesperson for TfL said that the N21 towards Trafalgar Square and Bexleyheath Shopping Centre bus service would also be on diversion this evening.
These bus routes will be diverted between Lee High Road, Lampmead Road, Sutcliffe Park, Ceadarhurst Drive and Eltham Road via Burnt Ash Road, Burnt Ash Hill, Westhorne Avenue and Sidcup Road.
Buses will not be stopping at Cambridge Drive, Lee Green, Weigall Road, Courtlands Avenue, Eltham Road and Kidbrooke Park Road.
