An arrest has been made after a man was seen with a knife in Erith.
The incident happened in Northumberland Park just before 8.40am today (January 4).
Officers were called to the scene and carried out a search of the area.

A man was arrested nearby in Belmont Road on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
He remains in custody at a south London police station.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 08:38hrs on Thursday, 5 January to reports of a man with a knife in Northumberland Park, Erith. No injuries were reported.
“Officers attended and carried out a search of the area.
“A man was arrested nearby in Belmont Road on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
“He remains in custody at a south London police station.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
