Police are looking to find suspects who assaulted a man in New Cross earlier today.
Police were called to New Cross Road just before 3am today (January 1) after reports of a man being assaulted.
Officers attended the scene, and no injuries were reported.
The suspects had left the incident before police arrived.
Enquiries are ongoing and there has been no arrests made at this point.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At 02:59hrs on Sunday, 1 January police were called to New Cross Road, SE14 following reports of a man being assaulted.
“Officers attended.
“No injuries were reported to officers and the suspects had left the scene prior to arrival.
“Enquiries ongoing.
“No arrests.”
