A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Bexleyheath.

The incident happened in Watling Street just before 1pm on December 25.

Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the scene.

The rider of the motorbike, a man, was taken hospital for treatment.

His injuries were assessed as not life threatening.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 1pm on Sunday, 25 December to reports of a collision involving a car and motorbike on Watling Street in Bexleyheath.

“Emergency services attended. The male rider was taken to hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.46pm on 25 December to reports of a road traffic collision in Watling Street, Bexleyheath.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”
